Roundsly: Daily Practice provides daily clinical practice questions. You can answer questions without creating an account. This page explains what stays in your browser and what is saved when you sign in.

Practicing without an account

Your assigned questions, submitted answers, and practice history are saved in your browser when browser storage is available. They are not uploaded to an account until you sign in and choose to save them. If browser saving is unavailable, the website tells you that your progress lasts only in the open tab.

Clearing browser data can remove guest progress. Anyone using the same browser may be able to see its guest answers. Guest practice is separate from signed-in account data.

Account information and saved progress

Supabase manages account authentication and stores your account email, question assignments, answers, practice history, and preferences. Your optional profile can include a display name, specialty, cropped photo, and selected city. These account records are restricted to your signed-in account, except for the community map described below.

Community map

If you’re signed in and have chosen a city, you appear on the community map that other signed-in members see on this website and in the Roundsly iPhone app. Your pin shows your photo (or character), your first name and last initial, your specialty, and your city. It sits at the city’s center: never an exact address or your device’s location. Your email address, full last name, answers, scores and practice history are never shown to other members. The one practice number they can see is your best streak (the most days in a row you finished a round, counting up to 2 rest days a week), on your card when they tap your pin. You can hide your pin at any time with “Show me on the community map” in Community (or You › Community map in the iPhone app), and deleting your account removes it.

Any signed-in member can report a pin (an inappropriate photo, an offensive name, spam or a fake profile, or something else) or block a member. Reports are anonymous to the member reported. A reported photo or name is hidden from other members right away while Roundsly reviews it, usually within 24 hours; we keep or remove it, and a removed photo can’t be replaced. Blocked members and you don’t see each other on the map. Map names are checked against a list of offensive words. Reports and blocks are deleted with either account.

If you use email and password, Supabase manages password authentication. If you choose Google sign-in, Google supplies basic identity information such as your email address, name, and profile image to the authentication service. Your Google password is not shared with Roundsly: Daily Practice. Google sign-in does not request access to your Gmail messages, files, or contacts.

Your browser keeps a sign-in session so you can return to your account. Guest answers are added only after you confirm the destination account. Existing account answers are preserved when the two copies differ.

Services that operate the website

These services may process connection information and operational logs to provide and secure the website. Links to clinical references open other websites with their own privacy policies.

Membership and payments

Your first round is free and needs no account. New rounds after that require a membership: a 7-day free trial for a new account, then $9.99 per month until you cancel. Stripe runs checkout and billing. You enter card details on Stripe’s checkout page; Roundsly: Daily Practice never receives or stores your card number. We keep your membership status, trial and renewal dates, a Stripe customer reference, and whether you have used your free trial. Stripe keeps its own payment records under its privacy policy.

You can update your card, see invoices, or cancel at any time from Membership & billing in your profile. After you cancel, your membership lasts until the end of the period you paid for, and your saved practice stays in your account.

One membership works on both the website and the iPhone app. A membership from this website works in the app when you sign in there with the same account. If you subscribe in the app while signed in (or restore your purchase there), the app sends us the App Store subscription’s transaction ID, and we ask Apple for its status and renewal date so it also works here. We keep that ID, status, and renewal date with your account. Apple bills App Store memberships, and you manage or cancel them in your iPhone’s Settings; we never receive your Apple payment details.

Optional email reminders

If you turn on daily email reminders, we save your chosen time, time zone, and opt-in. Resend sends the reminder to your confirmed account email. We check your saved rounds before sending and skip reminders for days you have already completed a round. After your free round, reminders are sent only while you have a membership. A message already being delivered may still arrive after you finish or turn reminders off.

You can turn reminders off in your profile or through the link in any reminder email. A previously saved preferred time does not subscribe you. Reminder delivery records, including the recipient, message, and delivery status, are kept for up to 30 days to prevent duplicates and troubleshoot delivery.

Optional location and profile

You can choose a city for your private profile. If you request a nearby-city suggestion, your browser asks for location permission. Exact coordinates are not saved or sent to the account database. Only the city you choose and save is retained.

Your choices

You can practice as a guest, leave profile fields empty, decline location access, or sign out. Profile settings allow you to reset saved practice, profile details, photo, and preferences. Resetting these records keeps the sign-in account.

You can delete your account at any time: sign in, open Account, and choose Delete account. This permanently deletes your sign-in and everything saved to it, including rounds, answers, profile, photo, and email reminders. A website membership is canceled at the same time, so you won’t be charged again; Stripe keeps its payment records. An App Store membership is billed by Apple and continues until you cancel it in your iPhone’s Settings. Guest practice saved in your browser is separate and stays until you clear your browser data.

Signing out removes account information from the displayed page while keeping its saved history in your account. Standard service logs and backups may retain information after a reset. Do not enter patient information into Roundsly: Daily Practice.
